Eligibility The regatta is open to all yachts which meet the rules of NCESA, whose skipper is an Active Owner or Regular Member of NCESA and whose sails and equipment comply with the Scantlings and By-Laws of NCESA.  The ISAF Sailor Classification Code will not apply.  A boat may sail with a different sail number from its hull number if it registers with that sail number and competes with that number for the entire event. Each competitor must complete a registration form and pay the required fees by close of registration May 11, 2024. Trophy age requirements must be declared as age before the first scheduled race.

Rules
The races will be governed by the rules defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS).

1. The racing area will be the waters of Nagawicka Lake.
2. Flotation Panels required for racing

Rest of Race Rules will be provided before May 1, 2024

    • All day arrival, boat set up, practice sail
    • Welcome and Bar open 5:00 pm – As late as you want
    • Registration 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
  • Saturday, May 11th, 2024
    • Registration and Continental Breakfast 7:45 am – 9:00 am
    • Competitors Meeting 9:15 am
    • Hour Gun 9:30 am
    • Start of Race One 10:30 am
    • Dinner at NLYC 7:00 pm or TBD  (Extra Purchase)
  • Sunday, 12th, 2024
    • Hour Gun 9:00 am
    • Start of first race 10:00 am
    • Lunch and awards after racing

Details: Skipper and three crew lunches (8 total)  included in regatta registration fee for both days.
Extra lunch purchase $12.00 each (pay with regatta registration or onsite)

Regatta Boat registration is  $175 before April 30th
$250 if registered after May 1st.

Regatta Registration for skipper & crew includes:
Complimentary continental breakfast Sat & Sun.
Lunches Sat & Sun.

Special spectator boats will be provided for sailing viewing.

Not included with registration:
Saturday after race dinner event at the NLYC.
Dinner cost:   $25 - (purchase before April 30th)
