The 2022 online NLYC Sailing School registration will open March 1st
Please review the class options available this year. After deciding which class interests you scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the green continue button to register. Summer is just around the corner, and our classes do fill up fast!
Opti camp students must bring life jacket, swimsuit, towel and sunscreen
Opti boat boat rentals are available for a $75 per session.
Boat rental is included in the 1 week camps
Opti Class Options:
Opti Session 1- June 13 to June 30 (Monday thru Thursday), no class June 27
Level 1/Beginner (One Remaining Spot Open ) is 1-330p ($225/member, $275.00/non-member)
Level 2/Intermediate (OPEN) 9-12a ($250/member, $300.00/non-member)
Opti Session #2- July 11 to July 28 (Monday thru Thursday), no class July 25
Level 1/Beginner ***FULL*** is 1-330p ($225/member, $275.00/non-member)
Level 2/Intermediate or Advanced (OPEN) is 9a-12p ($250/member, $300/non-member)
Competitive/traveling Opti (OPEN) on Tuesday's and Fridays (1-4pm) June 14 to August 2 (no class July 29) with coached regattas $350. (no dry-sail fee for members) non-members $50 dry-sail fee
Opti Camps:
Kinder Camp (OPEN) ages 5-7 years old. Tuesday thru Fri 1-3pm July 5-8th $200, no rental fee
Opti Camp Session #1 (1 SPOT LEFT) August 1st to August 4th (9a-2pm) $250 ($250.00) -no rental fee
Opti Camp Session #2 ***FULL***August 8th to August 11th (9a-2p) $250 ($250.00)- no rental fee
Opti Parent:
Opti Parent with child (5-8 years old) **BOTH CLASSES HAVE OPENINGS**
Session #1 Mondays 4-530pm, June 13- July 11, no class on 7/4 Member $100/non-member $120

June 13 to August 3, Wednesday races continue to August 17th (skipper $425/Crew $300)
Skipper requires membership either as junior ($75)/family membership. A separate application needs to be filled out, NLYC Membership can help answer questions relating to this option.
Boat not provided for class but we do have rental option if you are interested in rental.
Classes Run: June 29 - July 22, Wednesdays and Fridays 1:00pm to 4pm.

2022 options for Sailing School payment include:
1. Pay with credit card for entire payment. (Athlete assumes all fees & taxes) *Fee Rate: 3.15% + $1.00 (Credit card fee is set by and paid to SportsEngine, and does not go to the NLYC. If you have to chancel a registration paid by credit card, the NLYC can refund the amount paid to the NLYC, but not the fees that are paid to SportsEngine.)
2. Write a check and mail it

FAQ:
Where do I select pay by check?: When you go all the way thru and you end up at the shopping cart…there is a drop down under “Payment Options” It says Pay in Full, but if you click the drop down it says “Pay Offline” That would be the option you want in order to pay by check. After you select it, you can print that page (optional), then be sure to submit the registration, and send in your check with the print out.
